How do I set up my Front Page 2003 web site so that I can give a few persons
permission to edit certain portions of a web page?
I do not want to share global web site access.Would like one or two
persons able to upload materiall (microsoft documents) to a specific web
page which is part of my web site.
Other Web Design software allows for creation of portals, password protected
, in which selected individuals can add material which is immediately
published to a section on the web site.
This lets the web master delegate some of updating web site duties without
giving full access to a web site to persons who might do damage.

How can I do this in Frontpage. Would like a colleague to be able to upload
a MS WORD document, whose content changes weekly, to a specific area in our
web site.

Check with your web host and see if you can create subwebs/subsites and then set unique permissions.

Create a password protected subweb and give the author rights to this.
