I bought a brand new computer yesterday and am trying to learn about Windows
Movie Maker.

My question is how can I convert files into appropriate format in order to
burn them to DVD . . . any suggestions and general help would be grately
appreciated!

Thanks.

I am not using a camera for these videos. I have downloaded clips and music
videos in formats like avi, mpeg . . .

My avi files are not able to be imported from my Video Folder into Movie
Maker -- I assume that it is because I do not have the proper codecs for it.
Any suggestions on that one would be grately appreciated as well!

John Inzer - thanks for the links. I will give those a try.
