Can I convert a PPT-presentation?

I have an old slide show (PPT-presentation) that I would like to convert to
a format suitable for making a DVD-video.
Is that possible?

Yes. Check out PowerVideoMaker at: http://www.presentersoft.com/download.htm

PowerVideoMaker lets you convert ppt to video of WMV,AVI or MPEG format.

It is not possible with PowerPoint alone. You'll need Third-party-software.
