Can I connect xp home to 2000 domain

I tried to join 2000 domain from xp home window installed
computer.But i did not find any option on network
identification tab.

Can i join domain or only work group.If i can join then
why that option is not visible.
please help me.

Windows XP Home does not support joining a domain.

XP Home Edition can't join a domain or log into a domain. It can
connect to a domain and access domain resources. For details, please
