Netgear Wireless router
ISP:Comcast

I can connect to the wireless router from my laptop, but cannot get IE,
Outlook or other programs to connect to the web. Other computers
connect to the wireless router successfully (and access the web), but
the Sony cannot. I CAN connect via a cable from the laptop to the
wireless modem and get internet connectivity.

Please help.

Are you certain your NIC card supports wireless connection?

Click Start, Run, type:

cmd

Click OK

At the Command Prompt, type:

netsh winsock reset

Press Enter key

Now type:

exit

Press Enter

Restart the system
