Hi, I have several computers on my network at home. 1 Win98, 1 XP Home, 2 XP
SP2. One of the XP SP2 machines, I just did a reformat, fresh install of SP2.
I have cable modem and a Linksys 4 port router - All the computers (Dells)
used to be able to connect to the internet. The computer I just re-rolled
used to connect fine. But now that that I have re-rolled it, it can only see
my local network and the computers in the workgroup.
It will not connect to the internet no matter what I try. I've tried so
many things, that I can't even remember to list them all here. I turned off
the Firewall. TCP/IP settings were all set to "Auto" - and when it was, it
wouldn't even see the local network. I manually set the IP, Subnet,
Gateway, etc. to finally get it to connect to the local network. (I can open
folders/files on other computers on the network) But the internet connection
is still a no go.
This is part of the network diagnostics:

I don't know if that helps.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
