There is an icon in the lower right corner of the screen called clips online.
I'd like to be able to configure it to go directly onto the Internet to MS
Office clip art when I click on this link. Right now, it opens to my personal
folder and I have to type the URL in the address field every time.

In PPT 2003, on the Clip Art pane (which appears if I choose Insert |
Picture | Clipart), if I click "clip art on Office Online" at the bottom of
the task pane, it opens IE to this page:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx

It's not doing the same for you, I take it? Which version of PPT, and are we
talking about the same icon/link?

Select the image and go to Insert --> at the bottom is hyperlink. A box will
appear and instead of selecting a file from your computer or anything else,
just type in the address and hit OK. that image is now a hyperlink to the
address that you typed in.

Again,

>> and are we
>> talking about the same icon/link?

And more:

Do you have online access when you attempt this?

What do you have selected in Tools | Options | General | Service Options |
Online Content?

In Word (yes, I said Word), what do you see in Tools | Options | File
Locations under Clipart pictures? (I actually see a blank here -- no file
path is listed.)
