Can checkboxes used for dates be converted?

I have a report based on 'Orders Qry' that allows me to print a
shipping calendar. The report is also based on a form allowing me to
select a start and end date for the calendar. This is fine for regular
orders (it reflects the date the order was placed, the required date
and the ship date, as well as other needed information).
However, I also have special orders that can be sent monthly,
quarterly, or bi-monthly. The customer selects the months they want
shipping. On my end the months selected are in a check box on the
Orders form and also reflected in the Orders Qry. These special orders
are sent on the first of the month.
I need the Shipping Calendar to also show these Special Orders or, if
that is impossible, set up a separate Shipping Calendar that contains
these special orders but don't know how to go about this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you need any other
details that I left out just let me know.
