Can I Change Sync WMA Conversion Default From 160 to 96?

Hello.

I'm using Windows Media Player 10 to synch MP3 files with my digital
MP3 player. (It's an RCA Lyra 1072.)

When I select MP3 files to download to the RCA Lyra player, Windows
Media Player requires them to be converted to WMA format.

The default bitrate, as far as I can tell, is 160.

Here is my question:

Can I configure Windows Media Player to convert the MP3 files to a
different WMA bitrate of my choice? I'd like them to be converted to
96 bitrate, if possible.

If this is possible, what is the procedure? How do I configure
Windows Media Player to convert the files to WMA-96 instead of WMA-160
when synching?

Thank you.

PS: Is there a way to override the conversion option, so that MP3
files can be downloaded to the player without being converted to WMA?

Never mind. I figured it out.

I also completely forgot the possibility of simply dragging and
copying the files from drive window to drive window. Why that slipped
my mind, I have no clue. But that's how I transfer the files to the
digital player now.

This always happens...I post a question, and 2 minutes later, I figure
out the solution to my problem. <grin>
