Is there a list of skins or styles of different scroll bars that i can choose
from? for example, a green, flat bar instead of the standard grey embossed?

Free software for colored scrollbars. But... installing their software will
also automatically install SaveNow, an adware. It won't hurt your computer,
but it will keep finding bargains for you. If you don't want SaveNow, you
can remove it with the Windows control panel. (It's not cheating. The
SaveNow website tells you how to do it.)

Be aware that such changes are invalid CSS, and will only affect scrollbars
in IE/PC, not in any other browser/platform.
