How can I change an #N/A error to display other text?

I have entered a vlookup formula that returns an #N/A error until the data is
found. What I would like to do is to display this #N/A as meaningful text
such as "unpresented".

Try this,

=If(Isna(Vlookup(...)),"unpresented",Vlookup(...))
