If all mail is courier new, it sounds like you are reading in plain
text. When you set your stationery to always use your fonts, did you
also change the fonts used for composing and reading messages? You
should change all 3 of the font settings to use Arial. (And do not use
the draft font option.)
The font settings won't overwrite all html fonts - it depends on how the
style is added to the html. Also, the settings may only apply to newly
downloaded mail, not mail already in outlook. (Except for the plain text
font format.)
The 'use my preferred stationery' option applies to replies, not all
mail you receive.
