I am on a PC that has the C: drive locked down and no ftp access. I edit my
pages remotely using an http connection. When I open a remote image for
editing through FrontPage, the default temp directory that is used is on the
C: drive. As a result, I have to save to another location, upload to the
website and possibly change the name of the image link.

Here's the question:
Is there a way to change FrontPage's temp directory to a drive that I have
access to?

I think you can avoid the problem by; editing the image OUTSIDE of FP with your favorite image editor, then Importing (or drag/drop) it into FP's Image Folder. I'm fairly certain that that image temp file is only created when you edit an imaged from within FP with your outside image editor.

If you mean the folder named FrontPageTempDir, this folder is created automatically at that location
based upon your %UserProfile% setting.

If you can create a UserProfile on another drive, it should work.
