You should have created a new user and added it to the Admins group before
removing the Admin user from Admins. The new user is the one used to secure
the database. By logging in as the new user you have the full permissions
available to the Admins group, but anyone trying to open the database as the
default Admin user (which is what you are when you open an unsecured
database) will be unable to do so as the Admin user is now only a member of
the Users group (as are all users) from which you should have removed all
permissions.
