Several years ago, Adobe sold a version of Acrobat Writer on-line, but
as far as i know, they haven't offered that since. I did buy it back
then, I believe the price was $20. It was a very limited product....
enabling you to install a PDF writer for only some programs. Acrobat
is much more versatile, but as Barry said, much more expensive also.
As far as I know, if you're still a registered Adobe product owner,
you can still buy products at their on-line store.... but I think they
then mail you the package. I don't know of them selling anything via
download any more.
