How can I boot directly into Windows XP Professional?

      10th Aug 2003
That is, I don't want to be prompted to click my
account. At this time, I'm the only user and do not have
a password assigned. I'd like to have it boot directly
into Windows XP Pro without clicking my account to
login. This used to work and some point along the line
an update was installed and I'm stuck at the Logon screen
everytime.

Here's how:

Start->Run
'control userpasswords2' [ENTER]
Uncheck 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer'
Click OK
Type your login name in the 'User name' box.
Click OK

Note: Be sure you type in the correct login name because it will let you
enter an invalid one.
