Hello,

In Office 2007, you can look up "Information Rights Management" in the Help
file. You will see that you can do that via the Office Button | Prepare |
Restrict Permission | Restricted Access : Restrict Permission to this
document = "Read" (users with Read permission cannot change, edit or copy the
document).

I hope it helps,

You can remove these commands from all the shortcut menus in Word 2003 and
earlier, but this won't prevent people from using the toolbar buttons or the
built-in keyboard shortcuts.

I should have added that you need to configure your computer to use IRM
(Information Rights Management). Look this concept up in the Help file to see
how you can configure it, depending upon your operating system.

I hope it helps,

Thierry

Is this Word 2007, 2003, or something else?

In Word 2007, if you choose Office button, Prepare, Restrict Permission,
this should begin the process of setting up IRM on you computer. Is that not
happening?

In Word 2003, choose Tools - Protect, and then click the Restrict Permission
link at the bottom of the Protect Document pane.
