What does the message say, exactly?
Note that recent versions of Word usually present a warning when you open a
document or template containing macros; the purpose is to protect you from
macro viruses. If you know the file in question to be safe, you can place it
in a trusted location (such as the user templates folder).
On the other hand, if you want to get rid of the code, rename your Normal
template, with Word closed; when you restart Word, a fresh copy with factory
default settings will be created. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/...ocnotblank.htm.
You may also want to move (unknown) files out of the startup folder for
Word. For more on add-ins in Word, see
