Hello:

I'm the sole user of my computer, I didn't program any password. when
starting normally (from zero) I don't have to click on any icon. but when
restarting from "hibernate" I have to click on my username icon. Just for
curiosity reasons, can this be avoided?

thanks
Maurice

In the control panel
under "users and passwords"

just uncheck the box requiring the use of a password

Go to Control Panel and double click Power Options.
In Power Options, click on the Advanced tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby".
Click OK.

Good luck
