When I create a task and assign it to someone else that person becomes both
the owner and organiser of the task. I want to remain the organiser but have
that person as the owner. Conversely, when a person assigns a task to me I
become the owner, but they remain the organiser (which seems the correct
behaviour).

Are you asking for updates to status? Is the task in your default task
folder?

No, I am not asking for an update to status (I can see that as the %
complete). It is in my default tasks folder (as customised by me to see the
Organiser and Owner fields). What I don't understand is why, when I've
created the task, both the Owner and Organiser become the person to whom I've
assigned the task (incorrect behaviour), whereas when someone else has
created the task and assigned it to me, they remain the Organiser and I
become the Owner (correct behaviour).
Thanks!
