My computer crashed a few moths ago and I had to reboot. I
went on re-install everything when I discovered that I
have no sound. I check all my audio codes and they're
working fine, and all the cables are hooked up correctly
but it still doesn't work! The troubleshooter isn't
helping much at all. I don't even now what sound card is
in it. Can anyone help me out? At least tell me were I can
find out what sound card I have. My entire family will
appreciate all the help we can get. Thanks.

Look in Device Manager. (r-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware,
Device Manager, Sound, Video and Game controller)Now compare that with
any documentation that came with the computer and see if things match up.

Hey there!!

To see what sound card you have, you need your Computers
serial code. Then you call your PC manufactor who will
tell you what sort of card you have.

You can also try to install a new sound driver...tried
that myself and it worked like a charm!

Best of luck to your entire family!
Dennis!
