I would try the usual pc maintenance:
1. START RUN CHKDSK /F, restart to run chkdsk.
2. Run Adaware or Spybot Search n Destroy.
3. Update and run virus definitions.
4. Windows Update.
5. Check for sufficient disk space. Uninstall unused programs.
6. Internet Explorer. Delete Files, all offline content.
7. Disk defrag.
Be sure to follow the card munfacturers instructions, particularly the
sequence of uninstalling the old card and software, and installing the new
card and software.
