I have sent Diskeeper an email, but have not heard back yet. Diskeeper
will not work in SafeMode. I get an error saying that the DIskeeper
Engine could not connect.
Also, this is interesting....I just moved al of the data off of this
partition to another one and then deleted the partition, recreated it
and then formated it again. I then copied the data back to it and
tried Diskeeper. It defragmented the parttion in about a minute. I
then set Diskeeper to optimize the Master File Table to the Recomended
size and rebooted. I tried Diskeeper again and back to the painfully
slow defragmentation. Why would this cause the issue or is this normal
Diskeeper defragmentation time post MFT optimization?
