Can anyone give me some names of some servers. I am particularly interested
in servers that are heavy on computer contents.

And a search engine (like Google.com) can't find what your looking for?
What exactly are "computer contents"?

What kind of servers?

If you mean NNTP then try teranews.com.

I'm using Outlook Express. In particular I must configure OE with the name
of a specific server which carrries the newsgroup(s) that I am interested
in. I am interested in software and hardware issues surrounding Windows XP.
In particular I am interested in a newsgroup that covers 'Scanners'. I am
also interested in getting a newsgroup that covers 'Quicken'. I woud like
some specifics: I need names in a form that I might use for 'Outlook
Express', of one or two servers that carry a set of newsgroups that I might
be interested in. More generally, the next time I am interested in finding
the name of a newsgroup and a specific server that carries it, how do I go
about finding it. Thank you in advance.

You ISP should have a list of newsgroups that they provide that are OE
compatible. They also should be able to help you configure OE for access to
a specific newsgroup server.

Don - not nice to ask others to do your "homework"
In addition to JS's suggestion check "msnews.microsoft.com" for some answers
and give Yahoo groups a look-see - Google for groups.
