I get an error when trying to open this link that says something to the
effect of not being able to open the webpage. It does not crash IE but
instead just doe snot load the page. Can someone confirm whether the link is
a problem with the site or my system.

I get the same error that you get. I can go here
http://www.wugnet.com/default.asp and then click on the screensaver tab to
get there.

Maybe both you and I have the same program on our computers that is causing
this condition. I would suspect Spy Sweeper's shields may be doing this. It
also may have to do with PCTools Firewall.

Do you have either of these on your computer?

I do not have either of those programs installed. I use the built in Windows
Firewall and Windows Defender

Do you block sites with a modified hosts file? I am looking into this now.

It was an entry in my hosts file, Not sure which because it is a huge file
but I changed my hosts with the default
127.0.0.1 localhost entry and the page loaded. Now just to find which entry.

In article <#N#(E-Mail Removed)>, Pete Russell
says...
> Okay, thanx. SIGH!

Could be a DNS issue with your ISP. Try changing them to the ones at
OpenDNS.
