The task list on my desktop was shared with a colleague on her lap top. When
ever I work on any of my tasks ( I am the task owner), outlook automatically
sends the lap top notification of any work done. As the email address that
the update sends to no longer exists, the mail keeps being returned to me. I
have searched everywhere on both the desktop and laptop and can not find out
how to stop the task mail being sent. Please help. Its driving me insane.
Regards

Was she made a delegate or were you her delegate?

Hi and thanks for responding. I think she made me a delegate. (She was a
bit of a despot) All of the tasks were on the desktop machine initially,
which as the office administrator, is mine. When she started with us she
insisited on sharing the tasks on her lap top. I recall that she sent all of
the tasks to me and I had to accept them, which I duly did. Unfortunately,
she left and it was only when her email address was closed that it became a
problem because of the continual unable to deliver returned messages. I have
deleted all of the tasks and contacts from her lap top outlook but obviously
my machine is still sending updates when I work on the tasks.
Many thanks
Thom
