Can I anchor pictures to specific cells in Excel?

Can I anchor pictures to specific cells in Excel or do they just float about
on top of the page?

Anchor it with Alt-drag

Many thanks for your reply, Evan. I tried your suggestion and can see the
value in alt-dragging however, say I then wish to associate a picture with
other data in the same row, e.g like an image catalogue, do you know of a way
I can use the sort (or delete the row, even) and make the picture behave like
any other call in the same row?

The image will stay with the cell through sorting or filtering only if the image
is entirely within the cell and the image properties is set to "move and size
with cells"
