I've tried searching everywhere to get instructions on how to create a
signature in Outlook 2002 (Office XP Pro) -- but I'm at the end of the
frustration point!!

Does anyone know if it is possible to include my logo (a 250 pixle .jpg) and
some text in a signature. I tried doing it in Word (using the create an
e-mail signature instructions etc. and the text cam up, but the graphic had
an X in it -- it was not there!

If there any settings in Outlook 2002 that I need to do or any specifi
step-by-step instructions...it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks much!

Not sure if you know anything about HTML, but if so set an image tag
into your signature and it will draw it from your web server, an image
tag looks like this. Make sure the image is available at the
locations, and make sure you replace the locations below with your
own.

<img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/pathtoyourimage/yourimage.jpg">

If you wanted it to be a link to your homepage it would be

Actually, if the email is RTF or HTML you should be able embed a GIF into the signature as
long as one chooses the avanced signature wich will craete a rich text signature rather than
an ASCII, text, signature. Having a signature go to a web site graphic is NOT a good idea.
