I recently purchased a new computer that came with Office Stanard 2007. Is
there any way to purchase Access 2007 as a seperate program. Or can I
somehow uninstall Office Standard and get a credit for it through Microsoft
towards the purchase of Office Professional?

Yes, Access is available as a stand-alone product that can be added to
computer with or without Office Standard.

I'm unaware of any programs from Microsoft that offer a credit such as
you're describing.
