My client is simply connected (wired) to the internet via cable moden and
wireless router ... his kids are connected to. He claims active sync poped up
(already installed) nd attempted to sync with a device. This client a CEO of
a large corporation, is near three hours driving distance, and does not allow
remote access to his computer. All of the detail is not in yet however, I
beleive that the program sub-directory holds a folder called "Microsoft
ActiveSync" when XP Home/Professional is installed and contains three files.

Is it possible that Active Sync has installed itself or could one of his
children remotely loaded it onto his machine without physical access or is
there a trojan or other way to install this on his machine?

Please advise
