Can an access app be put in the system tray?

I have an app that monitors a database. can i set it up to run in the
system tray so it doesn't appear on the task bar?

This probably isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's the closest
thing I have come up with. I've never used it, just happened across it while
poking around, but possibly you can make some use of it.
