Camera Not Instigating Wizard

Dear All,

I've got a challenge when I visit my parents next...the Camera Wizard is not
instigating when the USB Cable of the camera is plugged in, the media is
viewable from "My Computer" but it is a little bit too much for them to do
it that way, they found it much easier with the Wizard.

I've searched around Google, and nothing has jumped out at me on how to fix
this problem...

Any Ideas?

Regards
Paul

All digital cameras that I've owned over the years have had an
installation CD with photo manipulation software that automatically
runs when the camera is plugged in.

Is that software installed on your parents computer?

Right-click on the camera in My Computer, select Autoplay and make the
the option to run when the camera is plugged in.

I'm going to check if RP10 is installed, and uninstall if needed....

Also, I'll see if there is custom software, although, that will probably be
too complicated for their level, they just like the facility to choose the
pictures and copy them to the hard disk....

I'll report back when I've checked....(won't be until Wed)

Well, it would turn out it had nothing to do with RP10 or anything else for
that matter....it was because of the camera, I think it ain't compatible, I
ended up installing the camera own software and it triggered it when the
camera was in, but when I plugged in my memory card from my camera via a
SD/USB reader, the Camera Wizard fired up, so I'm guessing it checks for
somat in the Memory card to tell it what to do, maybe DCIM or something.....
