I had an assignment from a very dear friend of mine to find out the best £100 camera on offer. I spent some time going through the options available and to ultimately find the least compromised digital camera available at the price point. After narrowing it down to two models the winner emerged. In selecting the winner various options were considered including but not limited to, features, quality of image, type of memory and ease of use.

The camera comes in three colours, Grey, Blue and Gold. I am sure one of them is right for you.

Check them out and grab one if you are in the market for a decent camera which not only gives great results but is very, very easy to use.

Canon Powershot A430 Digital Camera Gold

Canon Powershot A430 Digital Camera Blue

Canon Powershot A430 Digital Camera Grey

Keeping in mind the budget and the mandatory requirement of a memory card I had suggested the Sandisk memory card of 512MB capacity. This card is more than sufficient for a days outing, however, more can be purchased as the need arises. It would be prudent on buyers part to have two cards instead of one larger capacity. So buying Two 512MB or two 1GB capacity card is the right thing to do. If budget is tight a second card can be added later.

SanDisk SD 512 MB ULTRA II

Happy Shooting!

Actually it is 8 pounds cheaper but after you add 4.90 as delivery charge and not including the FREE Lowepro case it no longer is a bargain compared to the Amazon offer

In my opinion and based on information provided going for the camera from Amazon is a no brainer
