Hi

Sorry new to this channel when i run the wizzard for MSN 6.1 everything
works fine my cam shows pics and my mic is fine. When i try to connect or
send my web cam nothing shows up???

I cannot getat the settings and if i click properties nothing is seen from
the cam???

My cam works fine in Netmeetinf but not in MSN, i know you have to reboot
your machine if youhave had your cam running in Net Met.

What type of webcam are you using? I assume you're using the 'Webcam' button or 'Start
Webcam' option to start your camera in MSN Messenger 6.1? Instead, click the Actions menu in
a conversation window and choose 'Start Video Conference'. This will use the same camera
functionality that is used for the wizard, and therefore should work. However, this will
only work if both you and your contact are using Windows XP.

It is a Philips 645 Digital Camera as i say it works in the wizzard setup!!

I am thinking it must be my setup i have Win Xp my firewall is Zonealarm Pro
& i am running through a router a Linksys BEFW11S4

I guess these could be blocking the signal but not sure how i set up the
firewall and the router????

Any ideas or any webpages explaing??
