Hi everybody

Due to unexplained Vista crashes I ran Sfc.exe with the /scannow option to
get verify and repair of system files. At the end of the process I got the
following message:

>> Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 99% complete.
>> Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix
>> some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log
>> windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log <<

Since the above message implies that some files were corrupted and not
repaired I analyzed the CBS.log file as per Microsoft KB 928228 and 929833
recommendations. The sfcdetails.txt did not show anything valuable. I then
isolated the part of the cbs.log file relating to the run of the day and
tried to locate key words like "corrupted file", "cannot repair", "repaired
file", etc. contrary to the examples given in the KBs none of these words
exists in the log file!!

Is that specific to Vista Ultimate? I badly need help in this area. Thanks
in advance.
