I am scanning a lot of old photo albums into my computer. My old Epson
flatbed scanner/printer gave up its ghost and I am looking for a
replacement.

The nice thing about my old scanner was that, if I place two (or more)
photos on the scan-bed, the Epson software would automatically give me
individual scans of
each photo, instead of a single scan of both photos, combined.

What is this scanning feature called, so that I can look for it when I buy
a new all-in-one?
