Call has been idle for 5 mins, Hang up or cancel are choice buttons.I keep
getting this message when reading newsgroups on OE6. I have XP Pro
installed. I cannot find any method of stopping this notification. Any help
appreciated, thanks.

Can you provide more information?
Are you on a network?
What ISP?
Other factors which could relate to your problem.
Thanks.

No it is a dial up connection to BT Internet. I am using OE6 to read
newsgroups. I am using mouse to select posts to read, but this still says
call been idle for 5 mins and gives me choice to hang up or cancel.
