How to calibrate scanner/monitor color in HP Precisionscan Pro?

On the HP website, http://h71036.www7.hp.com/hho/cache/156-0-0-225-
121.aspx, it states that "it is essential to calibrate your scanner and
monitor" to ensure correct colors when scanning, and that this can be done
in the Presisionscan software. I have Precisionscan Pro latest version
(3.13) and nowhere can I find the ability to perform this calibration.
Does anyone know how can I do this?

Another question: how can I ensure that an A4 page is scanned at exactly A4
dimensions when I cannot see the edges of the paper in the Precisionscan
software. How do I get the selection box the correct size?

I have the HP Scanjet 5470c.

Hope someone can help. TIA.

JK
