Would like to generate a report as followed:
1st row: Month
2nd row: Days of the month
First Column: Names of Employees
Second/third/fourth, etc. columns: Task Employee is
working on. <Blocks on the days that this employee is
working on the task.>

Scenario, John Doe is working on "Planning" starting on
the 1st of January and ends the task on 3rd of January.
On February 1, he is working on "Budgeting" and ends the
task on March 12. Therefore, on the report, there is a
text block marking 1st of January to the 3rd as
text "PLANNING." On February 1 - March 12, text
reads "BUDGETING."

Can't really explain without a picture but if anyone
understands, pls respond. Beginner here. Much
appreciated.

There are some sample calendar report at
http://www.invisibleinc.com/divFiles.cfm?divDivID=4. I'm not sure if any of
these will meet your requirements but they might give you some ideas.
