Calendar/Resource Scheduling

Hi, Because I am not currently able to test this, can someone tell me:

1) If I have a public calendar setup as a resource (with an email box), and
I create a meeting invitation with that calendar as a resource, can anyone
who has access to the public calendar see the appt, the invitation list, and
the accept/decline information for that appt.?

2) Can anyone use this resource or do users have to be defined?
