V14.21 is available for downloading from:

http://www.stokepoges.plus.com

and has also been sent to Simtel.

It fixes a bug which impacted users on PCs with non-English regional
settings.

Thank you very much!

Curious why your distribution and setup file have increased 100pst in
size since the previous release.

Calmag141.zip (864kb) setup.exe (867kb)
Calmag1421.zip (1.59mb) setup.exe (1.62mb)

New installer, or added some common Win32 libraries perhaps?

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

Bjorn,

I did change installer but the main reason is a switch from VB3 to VB5,
since VB3 is a little "long in the tooth". A classic example of
bloatware and I haven't included the VB5 runtime file?

By the way, I put up V14.22 yesterday. It fixes one bug to do with
updating and deleting existing reminders.

I see. Btw, I didn't use that B word.

Forgot to add: Great program! Among other things I can now remove the
world time clock I hardly ever use, as well as some of the unit
conversion utilities I also hardly ever use, because your Calendar
Magic offers both those features - and much more.

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

Bjorn,

Thank you for your kind words. It's nice when people appreciate what you
have done.

With best wishes,

Alex

I'm another of those. I installed it yesterday but it looks great. All
the features I looked at worked like a charm and I was very impressed
at the amount of research that you had obviously done.

I, too, enjoy how you crafted the human end of your program. You
really surprised me by including the city down the hill from me:
Richmond, California! You put us in the same class as San
Francisco, but hopefully not as full of ourselves.

Thanks, Alex.

Richard

Richard,

Thank you. I'm happy to add other locations on request.
