I'm using Outlook 2003. I've always had Calendar come up in a format that
looks like a traditional calendar that hangs on the wall, ie with a month of
boxes for each day. Today I did a search and got a list of appointments
which matched the search.

The problem is that I then cleared the search but now I'm stuck with a
format for Calendar which shows a list of all my future appointments and I
cannot figure out how to get back to my original "calendar" like format.

Click the "31 Month" button on the Standard Toolbar.

see File, Edit, ..., Help but nothing else.

But I couldn't find any 31 Month icon. But I got it done with View - Arrange
By - Current View - Day/Week/Month

That's a menu bar, not a toolbar. The Standard toolbar contains the icons
New, Print, Delete, etc. and is below the menu bar. Right-click on an empty
area of the Menu bar. The context menu that appears should contain
"Standard", "Advanced", :Web", and "Customize". Make sure "Standard" is
checked. You can also click View and click "31 Month" on the View menu.

That's one way, but again, the View menu will also have "1 Day", "5 Work
Week", "7 Week", and "31 Month" items on it. If you are using smart menus,
you may have to click on the down arrow at the bottom of the menu to see them.
