Is it possible to configure outlook 2003 in such a way that when I add an
appointment to the calendar it defaults to PRIVATE. I don't want to check the
Private checkbox every time I add an item to the calendar.
When sharing my calendar my colleagues they can see that I'm busy but not
the contents of my appointments

Thanks

Josef

No, you will need to set it manually.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Josef asked:

Couldn't you reduce the permission levels you give them so they cannot see
the details of your appointments? They can see if you're busy without ANY
permissions set for them.
