Calendar Control 11 fails with a Windows XP SP2 Client?

I've inserted a simple calendar (Calendar Control 11) using FrontPage 2003
on an .ASP page used in an internal web site. All the calendar does is sit
there and provide a quickly-available calendar for visual reference.

The calendar worked fine until I tested a Windows XP SP2 client. My testing
of a Windows XP client updated with Windows XP Service Pack 2 (RTM version)
shows that Internet Explorer no longer displays the calendar. All I get is
an empty box with the typical "Whoops...this file isn't available" icon in
the upper left corner of the box. There's no option to download the missing
component.

Internet Explorer is giving me no warning that there is any ActiveX
component problem. No pop-up panel or anything. I've tried putting this
internal web site in my "Trust Sites" zone, with security set to low, and
still no calendar. All the security options in I.E. regarding ActiveX are
set to "Enable".

Anybody else seen this problem and any suggestions on how to make Calendar
Control work on a trusted internal site?

Thanks! Myron

I would imagine the SP2 is just saying no to ActiveX (I said no long before
SP2). You will probably have to adjust your security settings to allow
ActiveX on your PC.

But then even if it's set on their PC how many visitors are going to have it *turned on.*
