Calendar contents disappeared - Outlook 2000

I have a system that locked up and rebooted itself. When it came back up and
we opened outlook the emails where there but there were no items left in the
calendar and some contacts were missing. I don't know if I am looking at a
corrupted PST file or what. There should be no chance of a virus.

Can someone help me
