Calendar Conflicts

Outlook 2003 doesn't notify of calendar conflicts. Unless you count that
useless bar that shows in gray when making the appointment. Once the
conflict is in, there is no way to find it unless you run through a bunch of
hoops and read every apointment in your calendar. The usefulness of Outlook
2003 is non existant if we cannot resolve calendar conflicts and a productive
manner. No wonder Apple is gaining fast on Microsoft. So, is there anyone
out there that can tell me how the hell we are supposed to find calendar
conflicts. Supposedly there is supposed to be some sort of alert symbol in
the Event view, but we don't see anything like that. Hopefully someone has
an answer as Micro$oft wanted a couple of hundred dollars to tell us how to
do it.
