At my work we have a special function in the calendar: If we enter OFF: (and
several other three-digit-codes followed by the :-symbol) as the first
information in the subject box, the telephone will automatically be closed
and the switchboard will have information about my task during the registered
appointment.

I would like the system to send me a standard (predefined) e-mail if I enter
for instance BEF: as the four first digits in the subject. (The e-mail should
only be send to the person who register the appointment starting with BEF.
The IT-support say this is difficult/impossible. Is it, or would it possible
to program this as an automatic function?

You would need to write a VBA addin to do it.
