I am trying to make excel calculate something for me.
I want it to take 1a + 1b = 1c than take 1c through 600c and give me the
sum?

Right now I am on 62 and I know there is an easier way.

Are you looking for something like:

=SUM(C1:C600)

??

Hi Enigma,

I'm wondering if you are looking for this formula to repeat so that a2 + b2
= c2? If so, then in cell c1 type in =a1+b1 and press enter. Then click on
c1 and hover your mouse over the bottom right-hand corner. You will see it
change to a little black cross. Click your left mouse and drag this down to
cell c600 and this will drag the formula down with it, changing the
references as it goes so that a600 +b600 = c600. In c601 you can then type
=sum(c1:c600).

HTH,
katherine
