please inform me how to calculate the total numbers of the contacts stated
in my contact addresses in the Outlook

You need to specify your Outlook version and revision level (SP#) in order to
get proper answers.

My answer/resolution applies to Outlook 2002 SP3.

The total quantity of Contacts is displayed in the Status Bar at the bottom of
the window. To view the Status bar, click on View then select Status Bar from
the menu.
