Hi, im having an absolute nightmare with this so any feedback would b
fantastic

I need to enter a formulae to calculate a column with hh:mm:s
(formatted for TIME) against a minute rate. So 00:00:30 at 20p a minut
would be 10p - help!

Hi

Excel stores Time as fractions of a day so to convert to minutes,
multiply the cell value containing your time by 1440 ( 24 * 60) before
multiplying by the rate
=A1*1440*20

For future reference, please try to avoid posting the same question
under different headings, and in differing newsgroups.
It can waste a lot of time with people not realising a reply has already
